Role Purpose
A Science Teacher educates students in scientific concepts, theories, and practical applications. They inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and respect for the natural world while preparing learners for exams and higher education.
Key Responsibilities
- Lesson Planning: Develop and deliver lessons in biology, chemistry, and physics aligned with CBSE/ICSE/State syllabus.
- Experiments & Labs: Set up demonstrations, supervise lab work, and ensure safety protocols.
- Student Assessment: Conduct tests, assignments, and provide constructive feedback.
- Classroom Management: Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Parent Communication: Update parents on student progress and address concerns.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on scientific discoveries and teaching methods.
- School Participation: Engage in staff meetings, training, and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) + B.Ed.
- Certification: Valid teaching license/certificate.
- Experience: Freshers welcome; 1–3 years preferred.
- Digital Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office, Google Classroom, and online teaching platforms.
- Soft Skills: Patience, curiosity, clear communication, and ability to simplify complex concepts.
Work Environment
- Location: Schools across Bengaluru and Karnataka.
- Boards: CBSE, ICSE, IB, IGCSE, and State syllabus.
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent.
Pay: Up to ₹25,364.40 per month
