Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Full-Time Structural Engineer to join our growing team in our Calicut office. In this role, you will be responsible for performing structural analysis, designing safe and compliant structural systems, and collaborating closely with our in-house architects and project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rigorous structural analysis and design for [insert materials, e.g., concrete, steel, wood, masonry] structures.
- Complete calculations for structural components, foundations, and load-bearing systems using engineering software.
- Prepare, review, and approve structural drawings, blueprints, and BIM/CAD models.
- Ensure all designs strictly comply with local, state, and national building codes.
- Conduct occasional site visits to inspect construction progress and resolve structural field issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license (or ability to obtain via reciprocity quickly).
- Software Proficiency: Minimum 2 years of experience using AutoCAD.
- Experience: 3 years of practical experience in structural design preferably in residential building design.
- Strong understanding of local building codes and load requirements (wind, seismic, snow, etc.).
