About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Bench Sales Recruiter with strong knowledge of the US IT staffing industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience marketing bench consultants, building vendor relationships, negotiating rates, and placing consultants on C2C, W2, or 1099 opportunities across the United States.
The recruiter will work closely with implementation partners, prime vendors, and direct clients to place consultants in suitable projects while maintaining long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Market bench consultants to prime vendors, implementation partners, and direct clients across the US.
- Understand client technical requirements and match consultants based on skills, experience, visa status, rate expectations, and location preferences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, MSPs, and recruiting partners.
- Submit qualified consultants to open requirements within agreed timelines.
- Negotiate pay rates, billing rates, and contract terms with clients/vendors.
- Coordinate interviews, follow-ups, and onboarding processes.
- Maintain regular communication with consultants regarding project status, availability, and feedback.
- Track daily submissions, interviews, placements, and closures.
- Maintain and update consultant resumes according to market requirements.
- Work on different tax terms including C2C, W2, and 1099.
- Ensure compliance with US staffing policies and documentation requirements.
- Use job portals, internal databases, LinkedIn, and networking channels to identify opportunities.
- Achieve monthly placement and revenue targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in US IT Bench Sales or US Staffing.
- Strong understanding of the US recruitment lifecycle and staffing processes.
- Experience working with H1B, OPT, CPT, GC, EAD, and US Citizen consultants.
- Good understanding of various technologies and IT skill sets.
- Strong network of vendors and implementation partners.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Experience using job portals such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, TechFetch, and LinkedIn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, IT, or related field.
- Existing vendor contacts and active client network preferred.
- Experience with ATS/CRM tools is an advantage.
