We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager, Comet to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of Comet, Innovaccer’s AI-powered patient access and contact center platform. Comet is a live product serving multiple provider group and enterprise health systems customers, managing intelligent scheduling, referral management, and inbound / outbound patient engagement across voice AI, EHR integrations, and contact center workflows. This role combines strong technical product leadership, healthcare domain understanding, and hands-on experience with modern AI systems to build scalable, reliable, and production-grade capabilities.
You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Comet’s AI-driven platform - spanning voice AI and telephony workflows, LLM-powered scheduling and intent extraction, referral management, EHR integrations, and AI evaluation frameworks - working closely with engineering, data science, customer success, and customer-facing teams. This is a high-visibility role at the center of Innovaccer’s $100M contact center growth thesis, with direct impact on account retention and platform capability development.
Requirements
Product Strategy & Delivery
Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Comet. Identify opportunities to apply AI across patient access workflows by assessing customer needs, market trends, and regulatory realities.
- Translate complex requirements into clear, prioritized product roadmaps and execution plans.
- Lead end-to-end feature delivery: PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, release planning, and iteration.
- Own backlog grooming and sprint prioritization in partnership with Engineering and Design.
- Drive high-quality UX for AI-assisted workflows, balancing automation with patient safety, operator control, and clinical accuracy.
AI Voice & Contact Center
Own end-to-end product development for the Comet AI voice agent, including call routing, IVR configuration, conversation design, patient intent handling, and agent handoff workflows.
- Define and track AI output quality metrics - misrouted calls, scheduling errors, handoff accuracy - and drive improvement through structured evaluation frameworks.
- Partner with engineering and data science to productize LLM-powered reasoning, slot-filling, human-in-the-loop controls, and AI observability for high-risk healthcare workflows.
EHR Integration & Referral Management
- Own product specifications for Epic, Athena, and other EHR scheduling and referral integration touchpoints.
- Define workflow logic for scheduling, prior auth, fax triage, duplicate detection, and referral status tracking.
- Ensure Comet workflows are operationally accurate, auditable, and compliant within enterprise health system environments.
Customer Delivery & CS Partnership
- Serve as primary product owner across live provider groups and enterprise health system customers, partnering directly with customer success and implementation teams.
- Translate customer escalations and live account issues into prioritized engineering work with clear owners and timelines.
- Represent the product in customer calls, onsite sessions, QBRs, and deal-cycle discovery as needed.
Required
- 5+ years of PM experience, including 2+ years owning a complex, enterprise-grade product in production.
- Prior experience in contact center technology, CCaaS platforms, or conversational AI - an understanding of IVR routing, telephony constraints, and production-grade voice workflows.
- Hands-on fluency with LLM-powered product development: spec NLP tasks, define output quality standards, and partner with engineers on evaluation frameworks and AI observability.
- Demonstrated ability to manage live account issues and product delivery simultaneously.
- Cross-functional delivery ownership across engineering, data, CS, and executive stakeholders.
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast-moving environments; strong written communication across PRDs, escalations, and executive briefings.
Preferred
- Healthcare technology experience - EHR workflows, scheduling logic, referral management, or prior auth. Not a hard requirement; strong CCaaS or AI voice candidates with genuine healthcare curiosity are encouraged to apply.
- Hands-on experience with Epic scheduling APIs, Athena integration, or major EHR touchpoints.
- Background in AI platform or evaluation work - ML output scoring, hybrid systems combining deterministic rules, ML models, and LLMs, and AI reliability in regulated environments.
