Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage transportation, dispatch planning, vehicle coordination, and logistics documentation. The candidate will ensure smooth movement of raw materials and finished goods while coordinating with transporters, stores, production, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily dispatch and transportation activities.
- Arrange vehicles as per dispatch schedules.
- Coordinate with transporters for timely pickup and delivery.
- Prepare logistics documents such as invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, LR copies, and dispatch reports.
- Track vehicle movement and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, PPC, and Sales teams for dispatch planning.
- Maintain dispatch records and logistics MIS reports in Excel.
- Monitor freight costs and optimize transportation.
- Resolve delivery-related issues and transporter queries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory transportation requirements.
- Support inventory reconciliation and stock movement activities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports.
Qualifications
- Graduate (B.Com, BBA, B.Sc., B.E., or any equivalent degree)
- Diploma or certification in Logistics/Supply Chain will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
- Experience in a manufacturing industry is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of logistics and dispatch operations.
- Good command of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS Reporting).
- Experience with ERP/SAP is preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet dispatch timelines.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in manufacturing or automotive industries.
- Knowledge of e-way bills, GST documentation, and transport documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
