About the Internship
We are looking for a creative and passionate Video Editing Intern to join our media and marketing team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in video editing, motion graphics, social media content creation, and post-production workflows. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Edit videos for social media platforms, websites, advertisements, and promotional campaigns.
- Create engaging short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
- Add transitions, effects, subtitles, graphics, and background music to videos.
- Assist in creating promotional videos, testimonials, event highlights, and marketing content.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to develop engaging visual content.
- Organize and manage video assets and project files.
- Ensure videos are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, techniques, and social media content formats.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Understanding of video formats, resolutions, and social media content requirements.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new editing techniques.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a Video Editing, Multimedia, Animation, or related course.
- Portfolio or sample editing work is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, or visual effects is a plus.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms.
- Candidates with their own laptop capable of handling video editing software will be given preference.
