URGENT JOB OPENING - STORE OPERATORS, AT VEMEGAL - KOLAR - KARNATAKA.
Job Summary
Candidate will be Responsible for end-to-end store operations, inventory control, material receipt and issuance, ERP compliance, safety, cost optimization and production support.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain inventory accuracy above target levels and perform cycle counts.
· Receive, verify and record incoming materials; generate GRNs on time.
· Ensure proper storage, labeling, traceability and FIFO/FEFO compliance.
· Issue materials against approved requests and support uninterrupted production.
· Update all inventory transactions accurately in SAP/ERP.
· Maintain inventory records, reports and audit-ready documentation.
· Follow EHS requirements and ensure 100% PPE compliance.
· Report incidents, hazards and near misses promptly.
· Maintain 5S standards and organized storage areas.
· Minimize inventory losses, damages and obsolete stock.
· Support internal, external and customer audits.
· Participate in Kaizen, Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Mentor junior store personnel and support team development.
· Manage RM, WIP, FG and consumable inventories with lot traceability.

Scope of ServicesThe deployed manpower shall support the following warehouse activities:
- Material receiving and unloading
- Quantity verification and put-away activities
- Material storage and bin management
- Material picking, issue, and dispatch support
- Inventory management and cycle counting
- ERP/WMS transaction support
- FIFO/FEFO compliance
- Material handling using pallet trucks/stackers
- Documentation (GRN, Issue Slips, Transfer Notes, etc.)
- 5S and housekeeping activities
- Safety compliance and PPE adherence
Minimum Skill Requirements
Personnel should possess experience in:
- Warehouse and stores operations
- Material receiving and issuance
- Inventory counting and stock control
- ERP/WMS transaction handling
- FIFO/FEFO practices
- Material handling equipment operation
- Warehouse documentation
- Safety and 5S practices
Skills & Qualifications:
· B.Tech / B. Com equivalent Graduate / Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
· 3–5 years of experience in store/inventory management.
· Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
· Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
· Knowledge of safety and compliance standards.
