Job Summary
The Special Educator is responsible for identifying students' learning needs, designing individualized educational programs, implementing specialized teaching strategies, and collaborating with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student development and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess students' learning abilities, strengths, and challenges.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Adapt curriculum, teaching methods, and learning materials to meet individual needs.
- Provide one-on-one and small-group instruction.
- Support students with disabilities such as:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Intellectual Disabilities
- Learning Disabilities (Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, etc.)
- Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Hearing or Visual Impairments
- Multiple Disabilities
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to promote inclusive education.
- Conduct parent counseling and provide guidance on supporting learning at home.
- Coordinate with psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive intervention strategies.
- Prepare progress reports and participate in review meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Diploma/B.Ed./M.Ed. in Special Education (depending on local regulations).
- Certification or registration with relevant educational authorities where required.
- Knowledge of disability laws, inclusive education practices, and assistive technologies.

Position: Special Educator

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
