Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Sales Executive to handle our Western Zone of West Bengal, covering Howrah, Midnapore, Purulia, Bankura and nearby markets.
The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of relevant FMCG sales experience with good knowledge of distributor management, retail sales, market coverage and territory development.
Key Responsibilities
1) Manage and develop sales across the respective territory.
2) Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
3) Manage distributors, dealers and retail outlets effectively.
4) Drive primary and secondary sales in the assigned territory.
5) Expand market coverage and appoint new distributors/retailers wherever required.
6) Ensure effective product visibility, merchandising and availability.
7) Monitor competitor activities, pricing and market trends.
8) Implement company schemes, promotions and sales strategies.
9) Maintain healthy distributor relationships and ensure timely stock movement.
10) Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
11) Coordinate with the sales head and management for smooth execution.
Candidate Requirements
a) 2–3 years of experience in FMCG sales is mandatory.
b) Experience in General Trade / Distributor Sales is mandatory.
c) Good knowledge of the Howrah, Midnapore, Purulia and Bankura district market.
d) Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
e) Should be target-oriented, energetic and capable of working independently.
f) Knowledge of SFA (Sales Force Automation) and sales reporting.
Salary
Salary will be negotiable based on the candidate's experience, market knowledge and skills.
