Job Purpose
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for managing on-site execution of office furniture projects, ensuring timely completion, cost control, quality compliance, manpower coordination, and adherence to safety standards. The role requires strong coordination with designers, contractors, installers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Measurement & Pre-Execution Coordination
- Conduct detailed and accurate site measurements prior to execution.
- Provide measurement data and site condition reports to the design team.
- Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and report before production.
2. Line Marking & Technical Alignment
- Execute precise line marking for furniture layout, electrical, and data points as per approved drawings.
- Coordinate with client representatives, MEP teams, and contractors for alignment prior to installation.
3. Installation Planning & Execution
- Plan and supervise installation activities at site.
- Coordinate with internal installation teams and external contractors.
- Ensure furniture installation is completed as per approved drawings and specifications.
4. Manpower Management
- Allocate and supervise installers and support staff for respective projects.
- Ensure proper workforce utilization and discipline at site.
5. Cost & Expense Monitoring
- Monitor and record all site-related expenses including labour, transport, consumables, and contractor charges.
- Ensure site activities remain within the approved project budget.
6. Time Management
- Ensure project timelines and milestone deadlines are achieved.
- Proactively address delays and implement corrective actions.
7. Quality Control
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with approved design specifications and company quality standards.
- Ensure defect-free handover of completed installations.
8. Material & Inventory Control
- Monitor material usage and prevent wastage.
- Maintain proper records of material receipt, consumption, and balance stock at site.
9. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to site safety protocols and company safety standards.
- Maintain necessary documentation including measurement sheets, progress reports, checklists, and handover documents.
10. Reporting & Escalation
- Provide regular project progress updates to senior management.
- Identify site challenges and implement practical solutions.
- Escalate critical issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of office furniture installation and site execution processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

- Basic documentation and reporting skills.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field (preferred).
- Relevant experience in furniture fit-out / interior execution projects.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in site supervision, preferably in office furniture or interior fit-out projects.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
