Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SFCC Principal Engineer / Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale digital commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Salesforce PWA Kit, and Headless/Composable Commerce Architecture, while providing strong technical leadership across multiple engineering teams.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can influence architecture decisions, mentor engineering teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive high-quality product delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of SFCC-based commerce platforms.
Drive engineering best practices, coding standards, and technical governance.
Provide technical direction across multiple development teams and projects.
Review solution designs and ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.
Architecture & Solution Design
Design and implement Headless/Composable Commerce solutions using SFCC and PWA Kit.
Define frontend architecture, rendering strategies, and platform scalability standards.
Build and optimize multi-brand and multi-region commerce ecosystems.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
Delivery & Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Architects, and Engineering teams.
Lead Agile delivery processes and ensure timely execution of project milestones.
Drive technical discussions with business stakeholders and leadership teams.
Manage technical risks, dependencies, and architectural decisions.
Engineering Excellence
Mentor developers and technical leads to enhance team capabilities.
Establish observability, monitoring, and production support frameworks.
Drive CI/CD adoption and automation across development and deployment pipelines.
Lead root cause analysis and resolution of critical production issues.

Expertise in modern frontend architecture and React-based storefront development.
Headless / Composable Commerce

Rendering & Performance
Expertise in SSR (Server-Side Rendering), Hydration, and modern rendering strategies.
Strong knowledge of Core Web Vitals (CWV) and frontend performance optimization.
Enterprise Commerce Architecture
Experience building multi-brand, multi-country, and multi-region commerce platforms.
Ability to design highly scalable and resilient commerce solutions.
CI/CD & Platform Engineering
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release management.
Knowledge of cloud-native deployment approaches and automation frameworks.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Amplience CMS or similar headless CMS platforms.
Knowledge of content-driven commerce architecture.
Experience with observability tools, monitoring platforms, and production support processes.
Exposure to enterprise integration patterns and API management platforms.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of software engineering experience.
5+ years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud architecture and development.
Proven experience leading enterprise-scale eCommerce transformation programs.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who can combine strategic architecture thinking with execution excellence, drive engineering teams toward successful delivery, and build scalable, high-performing commerce platforms using SFCC and modern headless commerce technologies.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bangalore City, Bengaluru, Karnataka
