Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and maintain the current inventory of packaging materials to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of packaging goods, ensuring all materials meet the required standards.
- Conduct quality checks on every consignment based on Acceptable Quality Levels (AQL) before receiving into inventory.
- Train the warehouse team on packaging protocols, ensuring proper product-item pairing and correct packing methods.
- Continuously explore and implement effective packaging solutions to reduce overall product costs without compromising quality.
- Suggest and implement measures to make packaging more environmentally friendly, with a focus on achieving zero plastic usage.
- Maintain detailed records of inward materials, in-transit stock, inventory, and packaging payment data using advanced Excel techniques.
- Continuously work on enhancing the packaging experience by evaluating and implementing new packaging techniques.
Must-Have Skills & Requirements:
- Willingness to work from the Bhiwandi warehouse from Monday to Saturday.
- Expertise in keyline development for packaging.
- Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel for tracking and analyzing inventory and financial data.
Preferred:
- Candidates with a degree or certification from the Indian Institute of Packaging will be highly preferred.
- Previous experience in packaging, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Knowledge or experience in sustainable packaging solutions.
