Job Title: Mainframe Developer
Experience: 4 – 8 Years
Locations: Bangalore, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Chennai, Hyderabad
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a DevOps Scrum team to design, develop, implement, and maintain Mainframe applications.
- Develop and enhance applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, IMS, and z/OS Connect.
- Support the implementation of mainframe changes and provide post‑implementation assistance.
- Design and develop high‑volume, low‑latency applications for mission‑critical systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Participate actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and integration of mainframe solutions.
Key Skills / Knowledge
- Hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, IMS.
- Good understanding of batch and online programming.
- Experience working with mainframe tools such as SPUFI, QMF, File Manager, Tivoli Scheduler, and version control tools.
- Knowledge of REXX and z/OS Connect is a strong advantage.
- Understanding of transaction processing preferred.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
