Position: PFT Technician (Pulmonary Function Test Technician)
Department: Pulmonology / Respiratory Department

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated PFT Technician to perform Pulmonary Function Tests, assist in diagnosing respiratory disorders, and ensure accurate reporting and patient care. The candidate should be capable of independently handling PFT procedures and maintaining testing equipment as per hospital standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), including Spirometry, Lung Volume Testing, DLCO, and Bronchodilator Reversibility Tests.
Prepare patients for testing and explain procedures clearly.
Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and operation of PFT equipment.
Generate accurate test reports and maintain patient records.
Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
Coordinate with consultants and other healthcare staff for smooth patient management.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Ensure timely completion of all assigned duties and reports.
Qualification
Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Pulmonary Technology, or related Allied Health Sciences.
Relevant certification in Pulmonary Function Testing will be an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Pulmonary Function Testing preferred.
Candidates with strong clinical exposure and hands-on experience will be given preference.
Skills Required
Knowledge of respiratory diagnostic procedures.
Ability to independently perform and document PFT tests.
Good communication and patient-handling skills.
Basic computer knowledge and report management skills.
Professional attitude and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Preference will be given to candidates from Delhi, Mumbai, or other metropolitan cities.
Candidates from reputed hospitals and diagnostic centers will be preferred.
Willingness to relocate and work in a hospital environment.
