Job Summary
The Accounts Assistant supports the finance department by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and financial databases.
- Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense claims.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
- Prepare and post journal entries in the accounting system.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on payments.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Assist with audits by providing required documentation and information.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and company procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (freshers may be considered for junior positions).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of GST, VAT, TDS, or local tax regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
