- Supervise daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms and public areas.
- Manage and guide housekeeping staff, including supervisors, room attendants, public-area attendants, and housemen.
- Prepare duty rosters and work assignments according to occupancy and operational requirements.
- Inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, presentation, amenities, and hotel standards.
- Inspect public areas such as lobbies, corridors, elevators, washrooms, and function spaces.
- Coordinate room status with the Front Office, especially for check-ins, check-outs, vacant rooms, and priority/VIP rooms.
- Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping services.
- Supervise VIP room preparation and special guest requirements.
- Monitor linen, uniforms, guest supplies, cleaning materials, and housekeeping equipment.
- Control housekeeping costs and wastage and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Coordinate with Maintenance/Engineering regarding room defects, repairs, and maintenance issues.
- Ensure hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards are followed throughout the hotel.
- Train and motivate housekeeping employees and monitor their performance.
- Check lost-and-found procedures and ensure guest belongings are handled according to hotel policy.
- Assist with deep cleaning, room inspections, and periodic maintenance programs.
- Prepare housekeeping reports such as room status, discrepancies, maintenance reports, and staff-related reports.
- Support the Housekeeping Manager/Executive Housekeeper in departmental planning and administration.
- Take charge of the department or shift when the Housekeeping Manager is unavailable, depending on the hotel's structure.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
