Required Qualification & Skills
- Graduate/Postgraduate in English Literature / English Language / Arts/ SST
- Strong subject knowledge of CBSE and SSC English curriculum for Std. 8th, 9th & 10th.
- Minimum 1 year teaching experience preferred (Freshers with excellent language skills can apply).
- Excellent communication skills with clear pronunciation and confidence in speaking.
- Strong ability to explain grammar concepts in a simple and effective manner.
- Ability to teach reading, writing, comprehension, and literature effectively.
- Skill in improving students’ vocabulary, sentence formation, and writing skills.
- Ability to make English learning interactive, engaging, and practical.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and guiding students.
- Punctual, disciplined, and result-oriented attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English (CBSE) to students of Std. 8th, 9th & 10th.
- Explain grammar concepts clearly including tenses, sentence structure, voice, reported speech, etc.
- Teach literature lessons, poems, and prose with proper explanation and context.
- Develop students’ reading comprehension, writing skills, and vocabulary.
- Prepare lesson plans, notes, worksheets, grammar exercises, and test papers.
- Conduct regular tests, writing practice, and answer-writing guidance.
- Encourage students to speak and express confidently in English.
- Provide doubt-solving sessions and individual attention where required.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Track student progress and performance regularly.
- Follow academic planning and lecture schedules strictly.
