Position Summary
The Assistant Manager – PPC, Stores, Production & Logistics will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring manufacturing activities while ensuring uninterrupted material availability, inventory accuracy, production efficiency, and logistics coordination. The role acts as the bridge between procurement, stores, production, quality, and dispatch functions to achieve production targets and operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Control (PPC)
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure adherence to delivery timelines.
- Coordinate manpower, machines, materials, and production resources.
- Track production output and identify bottlenecks affecting productivity.
- Generate production MIS and progress reports.
Production Operations
- Ensure smooth execution of manufacturing and assembly activities.
- Monitor shop-floor productivity, quality, and process compliance.
- Coordinate with Quality and Engineering teams for process improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce wastage.
- Support implementation of lean manufacturing and 5S practices.
Stores & Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Ensure timely inward and outward movement of materials.
- Manage GRN, stock transfers, material issuance, and inventory reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability for production.
- Handle RTV, rejection, quarantine, and non-conforming material processes.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers for material deliveries.
- Track material shortages and expedite critical requirements.
- Support procurement planning based on production schedules.
- Maintain vendor performance and delivery records.
Logistics & Dispatch
- Plan dispatch schedules based on production completion.
- Coordinate transportation and shipment activities.
- Ensure accurate documentation for inward and outward logistics.
- Monitor material movement and delivery timelines.
Team Management
- Supervise stores and production personnel.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and company policies.
- Conduct training on inventory management and process adherence.

Required QualificationsEducation
- MBA in Logistics / Supply Chain / Operations Management
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or related field
