Provides software asset management support through strong understanding of licensing guidelines for various software products, including Adobe, Microsoft, IBM, SAM Pro, and Flexera. Utilizes data analysis (Excel), asset management tools (SCCM, JAMF, ServiceNow), and effective communication to support informed decisions and collaborate with global teams.
Through understanding and knowledge of software asset management and its Lifecycle process.
- Good Knowledge and understanding of various Software products and their licensing guidelines. E.g. Adobe, Microsoft , IBM, Sam Pro, Flexera etc
- Data analysis, particularly working with Microsoft Excel to analyse software data that can be used to drive key business decisions
- Good Communication skills required since will be interacting with people/teams across geographies
- Experience with Asset management tools , like SCCM , JAMF, SNOW etc.
- Will need to work on Service Desk Requests and in shift timings as per business needs. Working knowledge on Service Now tool is required .
- Actively assesses risk and cost take out opportunities and makes recommendations to Software Owners and Software Asset Management leadership to optimize the software asset portfolio.
- Work closely with subject matter experts, including system architects, system administrators, project and program managers, financial managers, and engineers to obtain critical information required for the management of software.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT support, software licensing, or software asset management. • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to work in Hybrid Model and Rotational shifts to support operations across global time zones (24/7 environment)
