Job Summary
Casa Laxmi India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Ecommerce & Product Compliance / Regulatory Governance Lead to manage end-to-end product compliance and regulatory requirements across global markets.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Product Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Product Safety, Certifications, and eCommerce Marketplace Compliance, particularly for consumer durables, home appliances, electrical, or electronic products.
This role will be responsible for ensuring products meet applicable regulatory and safety requirements across the US, Canada, UK, Europe, and Australia, while supporting smooth product launches and uninterrupted marketplace operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct & Regulatory Compliance
- Manage end-to-end product compliance across multiple countries and sales channels.
- Ensure products meet applicable international regulatory and safety requirements before launch.
- Maintain regulatory documentation, declarations, product manuals, certifications, and technical files.
- Monitor changes in global regulations and ensure timely implementation.
- Identify regulatory gaps and coordinate corrective actions.
eCommerce Marketplace Compliance
- Manage compliance requirements for major marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, Wayfair, Best Buy, and other eCommerce platforms.
- Ensure marketplace listings meet applicable regulatory and documentation requirements.
- Prevent listing suppressions, product delistings, and compliance-related business disruptions.
- Maintain and update marketplace compliance documentation.
Certifications & Standards
Manage and coordinate global product certifications and standards, including:
- cETL / ETL / UL
- CSA
- CE
- UKCA
- SAA / RCM / EESS
Ensure compliance with applicable energy efficiency and environmental regulations, including:
- US DOE
- NRCan
- California Energy Commission (CEC)
- EU EcoDesign
- Australian regulatory requirements
Risk Management & Governance
- Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments.
- Identify potential regulatory and product compliance risks.
- Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop processes and systems to minimize compliance risks.
- Support faster and compliant product launches across global markets.
- Ensure uninterrupted marketplace operations from a compliance perspective.

Required Experience & QualificationsMandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 8–15 years of relevant experience in Product Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Product Safety, or eCommerce Compliance.
- Strong experience with international product compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing compliance across multiple global markets, particularly US, Canada, UK, Europe, and Australia.
- Experience with electrical, electronic, home appliance, consumer durable, or related products.
Preferred
- Certification or advanced qualification in Regulatory Affairs, Product Compliance, Quality Systems, or related fields.
- Experience working with international retailers and eCommerce marketplaces.
