About the Role
Stylewell Interiors is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in residential and/or commercial interior projects.
The ideal candidate should have good design sense, technical knowledge, and the ability to take projects from concept to execution while coordinating with clients, vendors, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative and functional interior design concepts based on client requirements.
- Prepare 2D layouts, furniture layouts, working drawings, and design presentations.
- Create and modify 3D designs and interior visualizations.
- Select suitable materials, colours, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
- Coordinate with clients to understand requirements and incorporate design changes.
- Coordinate with carpenters, contractors, vendors, and site teams during execution.
- Conduct site visits and ensure execution is as per approved design and drawings.
- Prepare material specifications and assist with BOQ/estimation where required.
- Ensure projects are completed according to design, quality standards, and timelines.
- Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, and products.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in interior design.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max/3D visualization, or similar design software.
- Good understanding of furniture design, modular kitchens, wardrobes, false ceilings, lighting, and interior finishes.
- Strong creativity and attention to detail.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with site teams.
- Knowledge of local materials, vendors, and execution processes will be an advantage.
Education
Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
