Are you a recent BAMS graduate passionate about patient care and holistic healing? We are looking for an empathetic and communicative BAMS Doctor to join our team as a Clinical Counselor.
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our patients, guiding them through their wellness journey. While you will utilize your medical knowledge to understand patient histories and track their progress, your main focus will be on clinical counseling, patient education, and providing holistic lifestyle and dietary recommendations based on Ayurvedic principles.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Counseling & Patient Support (Primary Focus):
- Conduct comprehensive one-on-one consultations with patients to understand their wellness goals, concerns, and lifestyle habits.
- Clearly explain treatment protocols, Ayurvedic concepts, and expected outcomes to patients in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Provide personalized dietary (Ahar) and lifestyle (Vihar) counseling based on the patient's unique constitution (Prakriti) and current imbalances.
- Act as a continuous support system for patients, motivating them to adhere to their wellness plans and addressing any doubts or anxieties they may have.
- Ensure a compassionate, safe, and judgment-free environment for all patients.
Basic Clinical Duties:
- Take and meticulously record patient medical histories and current symptoms prior to detailing their wellness plan.
- Perform preliminary, non-invasive health assessments (such as checking basic vitals or Nadi Pariksha, if applicable) to establish a baseline for counseling.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records, progress notes, and consultation logs in our system.
- Monitor patient progress over time and gently adjust basic lifestyle recommendations as their health improves.
- Recognize when a patient requires advanced medical intervention and escalate complex cases to senior physicians or specialists as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree from a recognized institution.
- Registration: Valid registration with the respective State Medical Council or NCISM.
- Experience: Freshers are highly encouraged to apply! (0-1 year of clinical or counseling experience is a plus).
- Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- High emotional intelligence, empathy, and active listening abilities.
- Solid foundational knowledge of Ayurvedic principles, dietetics, and lifestyle management.
- Basic computer literacy for maintaining patient records.
- Language: Fluency in Kannada and English is required.
