Job Summary
The Physics Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging, concept-based Physics lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will foster scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and practical learning while preparing students for board examinations and competitive exams where applicable.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Physics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for Classes IX–XII (or assigned grades).
- Prepare annual, monthly, and weekly lesson plans.
- Conduct practical sessions and laboratory experiments while ensuring laboratory safety.
- Use interactive teaching methods, demonstrations, digital tools, and real-life applications to enhance learning.
- Assess student performance through assignments, tests, projects, practicals, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and academic progress reports.
- Provide remedial support and enrichment activities based on students' learning needs.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations and encourage participation in science fairs, Olympiads, and other competitions.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices into classroom instruction.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and academic concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, school events, and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure discipline and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the school management.
Qualifications
- Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Physics or Bachelor's degree in Physics with B.Ed.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution (mandatory for most CBSE schools).
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns.

Experience
- Experienced Candidates: 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
