Job Description – Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition

Position: Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition

Department: Human Resources – Talent Acquisition

Experience: 3–7 Years

Location: Greater Noida

Qualification: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition to manage end-to-end recruitment activities and ensure timely closure of open positions. The role will involve partnering with hiring managers, developing effective sourcing strategies, managing candidate pipelines, and ensuring a smooth candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing and screening to interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
Understand manpower requirements and hiring priorities in coordination with business leaders and hiring managers.
Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, job portals, employee referrals, recruitment consultants, and other sourcing channels.
Conduct preliminary screening and assess candidates based on skills, experience, role fit, and organizational requirements.
Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and ensure timely feedback and closure.
Manage offer rollout, salary negotiations, reference checks, and joining formalities.
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring requirements.
Maintain recruitment trackers, MIS, dashboards, and weekly hiring reports.
Track key recruitment metrics including TAT, hiring status, source effectiveness, offer-to-joining ratio, and closure rate.
Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors.
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Support employer branding, employee referral programs, campus hiring, and other talent acquisition initiatives.
Maintain accurate candidate data and ensure proper documentation in the ATS/HRMS.
Identify opportunities for improving recruitment processes and reducing hiring TAT.
Guide and support junior recruiters or TA executives, where applicable.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of end-to-end Talent Acquisition and recruitment processes.
Excellent sourcing and candidate networking skills.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience in handling multiple positions and recruitment priorities simultaneously.
Good negotiation and candidate engagement skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, ATS/HRMS, Naukri, and LinkedIn.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
