ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Content Lead to own every word we publish in Tamil. You will edit, write, and commission 3–4 books a year along with supporting written content, and act as our in-house authority on Tamil language, voice, and cultural accuracy. This is a full-ownership role: you will shape the editorial identity of nBook Media from the ground up.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
· Developmental and copy edit all of nBook Media's Tamil books end-to-end.
· Write long-form Tamil copy: essays, articles, short fiction, and brand voice material.
· Commission and manage freelance illustrators, sub-editors, and proofreaders as required.
· Build and maintain a Tamil editorial style guide, brand voice, and glossary.
· Act as the in-house Tamil authority on language, idiom, tone, and cultural accuracy.
· Brief the Visual Lead on book covers and interior design direction.
· Liaise with Tamil publishers, literary networks, and academic editors when required.
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
