Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITSM, CSM & FSM Developer to design, develop, configure, and implement scalable solutions across the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), and Field Service Management (FSM), along with expertise in platform customization, integrations, workflow automation, and application development. The role involves working closely with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, business-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain solutions across ServiceNow ITSM, CSM, and FSM applications.
- Customize ServiceNow applications, forms, workflows, UI components, business rules, client scripts, Script Includes, and catalog items.
- Develop and enhance workflows using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Workflow Editor.
- Build and maintain integrations with enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP web services, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
- Develop custom applications and reusable components using the ServiceNow App Engine.
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, technical estimation, and development activities.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance and platform stability.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Follow ServiceNow development best practices, coding standards, security guidelines, and Agile delivery methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
- Strong implementation experience in ServiceNow ITSM, CSM, and FSM modules.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and ACLs.
- Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, App Engine Studio, Service Catalog, and CMDB.
- Strong experience building integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and MID Server.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise service management concepts.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, CSM, or FSM).
- Experience with Service Portal, UI Builder, Employee Center, and Virtual Agent.
- Familiarity with Performance Analytics, Discovery, Service Mapping, or IntegrationHub Enterprise Pack.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Workday, or Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of AI-powered capabilities within the ServiceNow platform, including Now Assist, is an added advantage.
