Job Description – for the Philippines
Sales Development Executive – Lead Generation
Remote · Full-Time · Reports to the Sales Manager
Performedia is a hybrid event production company delivering livestreaming, AV, captioning and accessibility services, badging, and video production for associations, nonprofits, corporate communications teams, and continuing medical education (CME) organizations, with growing focus on EdTech and higher education. We're looking for a Sales Development Executive to own the top of our sales funnel — building pipeline, qualifying inbound and outbound interest, and setting up our sales and leadership team for consistent, well-informed conversations with the right prospects.
You'll work closely with the Sales Manager & Founder
Salary Bracket
PHP 32,000 - PHP 50,000 a month
Objectives
- Learn the business inside and out — develop deep working knowledge of Performedia's current products and services (livestreaming, AV, captioning/accessibility, badging, video production) so outreach is grounded in what we actually deliver, not generic capability claims.
- Qualify for genuine fit — understand client needs and event context well enough to judge whether Performedia is a good match before an opportunity moves forward.
- Generate and convert inbound interest — handle, qualify, and nurture inbound leads, and identify net-new outbound opportunities across our target verticals.
- Keep the pipeline visible and current — document client and prospect information accurately in our CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot), and maintain a healthy, well-organized pipeline at every stage.
- Build and prioritize target lists — research accounts, identify key players, and prioritize prospects using real buying signals — event announcements, RFP postings, job listings, and relevant LinkedIn activity — rather than cold, unfiltered lists.
- Work efficiently with lead-gen technology — use CRM sequences, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and AI-based lead-generation tools to build and manage outbound outreach at scale.
- Partner on outreach execution — work with the content and marketing teams to craft and refine email and phone campaigns, and support LinkedIn-based outreach as part of our broader outbound strategy.
- Source opportunities through multiple channels — generate interest through a mix of online and offline outreach methods, always with a low-friction first touch (a simple yes/no question, not a calendar invite).
- Close the feedback loop — collect feedback from prospects and clients on what's resonating (or not) and pass it back to marketing and product so messaging and positioning keep improving.
- Stay market-aware — build and maintain a working understanding of market size, addressable market, competitors and their offerings, and current trends across our core verticals.
What Success Looks Like
- A pipeline that is consistently populated with accurately qualified, well-documented opportunities — not just volume.
- Inbound leads triaged and responded to quickly, with clear qualification notes for the team taking the meeting.
- Outbound lists built around timing and signal, not just title and industry.
- Clean handoffs: by the time an opportunity reaches a closing conversation, the context, need, and fit are already clear.
Competencies
- 3+ years of B2B sales or sales development experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to write outreach that reads as informed and credible, not scripted.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; comfortable tracking open rates, reply rates, and pipeline metrics separately to diagnose where drop-off is actually happening.
- Determined, with the follow-through to see prospecting efforts and campaigns from first touch to qualified handoff.
- Self-motivated individual contributor who is adaptive, positive, and collaborative.
- Hands-on experience with lead-generation and outreach tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM platforms (Salesforce/HubSpot), and email outreach tools (e.g., Lemlist, Instantly, Apollo).
- Proven track record of consistently meeting weekly and monthly pipeline targets.
- Confidence engaging prospects via phone and video calls, with flexibility to work hours that overlap with U.S. business hours.
Benefits:
- Health insurance
- Paid time off
- Work from home
