Calcutta International School is seeking a passionate and dynamic Science Teacher for the Junior School (Grades 1–5) to foster curiosity, scientific thinking, and experiential learning among young learners through engaging and learner-centric teaching practices.
Eligibility:
- Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Science with B.Ed./D.El.Ed.
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in primary/junior school
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Cambridge or international curriculum experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons for Grades 1–5
- Create interactive and activity-based learning experiences
- Assess and monitor student progress and learning outcomes
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and collaborative classroom environment
- Work closely with colleagues and parents to support student development
- Participate actively in school events, planning, and academic initiatives
