Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and bookkeeping.
- Record purchase, sales, receipt, and payment entries in accounting software.
- Prepare and process invoices, vendor payments, and customer receipts.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain petty cash records.
- Support monthly and annual account closing activities.
- Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments for accounting-related matters.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Assist senior accounts personnel with audits and financial reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting.
- Working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and basic accounting principles.
- Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.
Preferred
- Experience in the architecture, construction, or real estate industry will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with project-based accounting and vendor billing processes is desirable.
