HR Manager – Operations & Compliance
Location: Vadodara, Gujarat
Experience: 4–5 Years
Qualification: MBA/PGDM in Human Resource Management, MHRM, or equivalent.
Industry Preference: Third-Party Inspection (TPI), Engineering Consultancy, Infrastructure,
Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Construction, EPC or related sectors.
Position Summary
The Senior HR Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end Human Resource
Operations, including payroll coordination, statutory compliance, recruitment, employee
lifecycle management, HR policies, documentation and employee engagement. The role
requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented and capable of independently
managing HR operations while ensuring legal compliance and supporting business growth.
Candidate Summery
4–5 years of experience in Human Resource Operations.
Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
Hands-on experience in payroll processing and HRMS.
Experience managing end-to-end recruitment.
Excellent documentation and policy drafting skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and multiple project locations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel/KEKA and HR reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Compensation
Manage monthly payroll processing in coordination with Finance.
Verify attendance, leave records, overtime, reimbursements and salary inputs.
Ensure timely salary disbursement.
Maintain payroll records with complete confidentiality.
Handle Full & Final Settlement (F&F) of employees.
Coordinate with payroll software vendors where applicable.
Statutory & Labour Law Compliance
Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and employment regulations.
Coordinate and monitor compliance related to:
o EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Shops & Establishment
Act, Contract Labour regulations (where applicable)
o Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, Payment of Wages Act, Maternity Benefit Act
Maintain statutory registers, records & documentation.
Support labour inspections and statutory audits.
Maintain employment contracts and legal documentation.
Ensure HR documents are audit ready.
Coordinate internal and external compliance audits.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Handle end-to-end recruitment process.
Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
Source candidates through job portals, consultants, referrals and social media.
Screen resumes and conduct preliminary interviews.
Coordinate technical interviews.
Manage offer generation and salary negotiations.
Ensure smooth onboarding of new employees.
Employee Lifecycle Management
Employee onboarding and induction, Employee documentation and joining
formalities, Confirmation process.
Performance review coordination, Promotions and transfers.
Exit interviews, Full & Final Settlement process, Relieving letters and experience
certificates.
HR Policies & Process Development
Develop and update HR policies and SOPs.
Ensure implementation of company policies across departments.
Support performance management initiatives.
Recommend improvements in HR processes and employee experience.
Maintain employee handbook and HR documentation.
Employee Records & HR Administration
Maintain accurate employee records.
Ensure confidentiality of HR information.
Maintain personnel files.
Update employee database and HRIS.
Track leave balances and attendance.
Prepare HR reports and MIS.
Employee Engagement
Organize employee engagement activities.
Support employee welfare initiatives.
Address employee queries and grievances.
Promote a positive workplace culture.
Support learning and development initiatives.
Accreditation and Quality Management Support
Support compliance with applicable inspection body accreditation requirements (e.g.,
ISO/IEC 17020).
Maintain personnel competence records required during internal and external audits.
Participate in management reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
Assist during accreditation assessments and client audits.
Reporting
Prepare monthly HR dashboards.
Track recruitment metrics.
Attendence monitoring and monitor manpower status.
Generate payroll and compliance reports.
Present HR updates to management.
