Job Overview:
The People Team Specialist at LPL Financial Corp plays a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for employees. This position will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our People operations, touching upon HR administration, employee support, and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS, including transfers, terminations, and changes to employee data and employment verification notices.
Respond to employee email inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, and general HR-related matters in a timely and professional manner.
Support offboarding processes, including exit emails, benefits continuation information, and final payroll coordination for severance
Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including open enrollment support and responding to benefits-related questions.
Participate in special HR projects and initiatives, contributing to process improvements and program development.
Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive employee information and adhere to data privacy regulations.
Collaborate with other People Team members and departments to ensure consistent HR practices and strong interdepartmental communication.
Assist with HR compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
Preferred:
1-3 years of experience in an HR administrative or specialist role, preferably within a financial services environment.
Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS), with Workday experience strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
