Job Title: Social Studies Teacher (Middle School / High School)
Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and qualified Social Studies Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, interactive lessons covering History, Geography, Civics, and Economics. You will focus on fostering critical thinking, cultural awareness, and responsible citizenship while maintaining a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: Develop and execute daily lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum standards (e.g.,SSC guidelines).
- Subject Coverage: Teach foundational concepts across human society, historical events, world geography, civic systems, and economics.
- Engagement & Interaction: Utilise real-life examples, case studies, project-based activities, and multimedia tools to make learning interactive.
- Student Assessment: Design, administer, and evaluate student work, including worksheets, projects, regular assignments, and examinations.
- Progress Monitoring: Maintain precise records of student academic performance, attendance, and behavioral growth.
- Parent Communication: Regularly interact with parents or guardians to provide constructive feedback regarding their child's development.
- School Collaboration: Attend staff development training, faculty meetings, and actively participate in organizing school events.
Required Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related Social Science field.
- Professional Qualification: A mandatory B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of documented teaching experience handling middle or high school classes.
- Language Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills with absolute fluency in English.

- Classroom Management: Strong interpersonal skills to manage classroom discipline smoothly and resolve conflicts between students with diplomacy.
