Role Summary
Responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, passengers, or documents to designated locations. Ensures vehicle maintenance, compliance with road safety regulations, and professional interaction with clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities
Driving & Delivery
- Operate company vehicles to transport goods, staff, or clients to specified destinations safely and on schedule
- Plan efficient routes using GPS and traffic updates to minimize delays
- Load and unload items carefully, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo
Vehicle Care & Compliance
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections: check fuel, oil, tires, brakes, lights, and overall vehicle condition
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior
- Report mechanical issues, accidents, or incidents to management immediately
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and licensing requirements
Customer & Team Interaction
- Provide courteous, professional service to clients and passengers
- Communicate proactively with dispatch or customers regarding delays or schedule changes
Key Skills & Qualifications
- License: Valid driver’s license - Clean driving record mandatory
- Experience: 1-2 years professional driving experience
- Knowledge: Familiarity with local roads, traffic regulations, and vehicle maintenance basics
- Skills: Strong time management, navigation, and problem-solving abilities
- Attributes: Reliable, punctual, calm under pressure
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods and drive long distances
- Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
