We are looking for an experienced Erection, Commissioning & Service Engineer with 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Reverse Osmosis (RO), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), and Water Treatment Plants (WTP).
The candidate will be responsible for the installation, erection, commissioning, troubleshooting, operation support, and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment systems at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out erection, installation, commissioning, and servicing of RO, WTP, and STP plants.
- Supervise and execute site installation activities including piping, pumps, valves, tanks, filters, membranes, dosing systems, and related equipment.
- Perform RO membrane installation, replacement, flushing, and troubleshooting.
- Attend breakdown and service complaints at customer sites and identify the root cause of problems.
- Handle basic plumbing and electrical work related to water treatment plants.
- Carry out testing and troubleshooting of pumps, motors, control panels, dosing pumps, valves, and instrumentation.
- Monitor plant performance and ensure proper operation of treatment systems.
- Understand and check basic water chemistry parameters such as pH, TDS, conductivity, hardness, alkalinity, chlorine, and chemical dosing.
- Perform chemical dosing and assist in RO membrane cleaning/CIP activities.
- Prepare service reports, commissioning reports, site inspection reports, and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with customers, contractors, and internal teams during installation and commissioning.
- Travel to customer locations as required for erection, commissioning, service, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in RO, WTP, STP, or wastewater treatment plant erection, commissioning, and service.
- Practical knowledge of RO plant operation and troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of plumbing, piping, pumps, valves, and basic electrical systems.
- Basic understanding of water chemistry and water treatment processes.
- Knowledge of membrane systems, pressure vessels, cartridge filters, multimedia filters, activated carbon filters, softeners, dosing systems, and chemical treatment.
- Ability to read and understand basic P&ID, piping layouts, electrical drawings, and equipment specifications.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Environmental Engineering or a related field will be preferred.
