We are looking for a mid-level Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll Consultant to join our offshore delivery team. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in Oracle Cloud Payroll, including configuration, testing, and support of end-to-end payroll processes. This role involves working closely with onshore teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality payroll solutions, ensure compliance, and support operational excellence.

Configure, maintain, and support Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll processes and components.

Perform end-to-end setup activities including Payroll Definitions, Elements, Balances, Fast Formulas, Payroll Flow Patterns, and Costing.

Support Core HR and Payroll integrations ensuring seamless data flow.

Handle payroll parallel runs, validations, and reconciliations during implementation or production cycles.

Configure and troubleshoot Earnings, Deductions, Absences, and Costing setups.

Work on Fast Formulas for Payroll calculations, validations, and eligibility rules.

Create and validate Payroll Reports (using HCM Extracts, OTBI, or BI Publisher).

Collaborate with technical teams on inbound and outbound interfaces (OIC / REST APIs) and data conversions.

Participate in testing cycles (SIT, UAT, Regression) and coordinate with business users for sign-off.

Support quarterly Oracle Cloud release testing and document configuration impacts.

Prepare and maintain configuration workbooks, functional design documents, and user guides.

Provide post go-live and production support, resolving payroll-related incidents within SLA.

4–7 years of total experience, with at least 3 years in Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll.

Strong understanding of Payroll setup and processing lifecycle.

Hands-on experience in:

Element Configuration (Earnings, Deductions, Absences)

Fast Formulas (Payroll, Absence, or Costing)

Payroll Flow Patterns and QuickPay / Prepayments / Costing / Payslip Generation

Balance Definitions and Payroll Costing Rules

Working knowledge of Core HR, Absence Management, and Time & Labor integrations.

Familiarity with HCM Data Loader (HDL) and HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader (HSDL).

Experience with HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, and OTBI reports.

Exposure to payroll costing to GL, retro pay, and reversal scenarios.

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and documentation skills with experience in offshore-onshore collaboration.

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or any equivalent.

MBA in HR or equivalent.

Oracle certification in Fusion HCM Payroll.
