The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing the overall financial strategy, planning, management, and performance of the organization. The CFO provides strategic financial leadership, ensures financial stability, manages risks, and supports the CEO and senior management in achieving business goals. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the company's financial strategy and long-term financial plans. Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and financial reporting. Prepare and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts. Analyze the company's financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and management. Manage cash flow, working capital, investments, and funding requirements. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports. Oversee internal and external audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Develop and maintain strong internal financial controls and risk management procedures. Identify financial risks and implement strategies to minimize them. Manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and other financial institutions. Oversee taxation and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and statutory requirements. Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team. Support business expansion, mergers, acquisitions, investments, and other strategic initiatives. Provide financial insights and recommendations for improving profitability and operational efficiency. Ensure effective use of financial systems and ERP software. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration. CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred. Significant experience in senior financial management and leadership roles. Key Skills Strong financial planning and analysis skills. Experience Typically required: 5+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting, including experience in a senior management or leadership position.
