ServiceNow HAM (Hardware Asset Management)
Manage end-to-end hardware asset lifecycle (procure receive deploy maintain retire dispose)
Configure and maintain HAM modules in ServiceNow:
Asset classes, models, stockrooms, lifecycle workflows
Ensure accurate asset records through Discovery, Service Mapping, and integrations
Track asset location, ownership, depreciation, warranties, and refresh cycles
Coordinate with procurement, finance, and operations teams for asset compliance
ServiceNow SAM (Software Asset Management)
Implement and support SAM Pro and/or SAM Standard
Manage software lifecycle:
Request Procurement Deployment Usage Optimization Retirement
Perform software license compliance analysis for publishers (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, SAP)
Configure and maintain:
Entitlements, contracts, license metrics, reclamation rules
Execute usage-based optimization and reclaim unused licenses
