Snr Engineer – Planning & Budgeting (Highways & Road Projects)
About the Role
Galfar India is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineer – Planning & Budgeting to join its Corporate Planning team at Gurgaon Headquarters. This role is ideal for Civil Engineering graduates with a NICMAR qualification who are looking to build a career in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and performance monitoring for large-scale highway and road infrastructure projects.
The selected candidate will work closely with senior planning professionals and project teams to support project controls, resource planning, cost monitoring, and schedule management across ongoing and upcoming infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, updating, and monitoring of project schedules, work plans, and project timelines.
- Support project budgeting, cost estimation, resource allocation, and cash flow planning activities.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project under the guidance of senior planning engineers.
- Coordinate with project sites to collect progress data and update project tracking systems and MIS dashboards.
- Monitor project milestones, identify schedule variances, and assist in corrective action planning.
- Support the preparation of monthly progress reports, management reviews, and project performance analyses.
- Assist in Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation, quantity take-offs, and project documentation.
- Contribute to tender planning, bid support activities, and project execution planning.
- Ensure timely reporting and documentation in line with organizational and client requirements.
Educational QualificationsMandatory
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- NICMAR qualification (PG Program, PGDM, Specialized Certification, or equivalent) in:
- Construction Management
- Project Management
- Infrastructure Management
- Quantity Surveying & Contract Management
- Related Construction Management disciplines
Freshers possessing the mandatory NICMAR qualification are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills & Competencies
- Basic working knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Understanding of highway, road, bridge, and infrastructure construction methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and dashboard preparation.
- Familiarity with project planning concepts such as WBS, project scheduling, resource planning, and progress measurement.
- Good communication and coordination skills for working with multiple project stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in reporting and documentation.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹95,000.00 per month
