Key Responsibilities
- Retouch diamond and jewellery product photographs with precise colour, metal finish, sparkle, reflections, shadows, clipping paths and background cleanup while keeping the product natural and accurate.
- Create website hero banners, category tiles, collection graphics, campaign landing-page assets, promotional strips, lookbooks and educational visuals.
- Design marketplace images and infographics for Etsy, Amazon and other channels in accordance with platform specifications and brand standards.
- Create social media posts, stories, reels covers, advertisements, email graphics, festive campaigns and product-launch creatives.
- Develop clear product-comparison, size-guide, certification, packaging, care, shipping and trust-building graphics.
- Work with raw photography, CAD renders and videos; prepare consistent colour, crop, angle and export standards for different platforms.
- Translate creative briefs into multiple strong concepts, accept feedback positively and refine work quickly without losing quality.
- Maintain organised source files, naming conventions, reusable templates, brand assets and version control.
- Coordinate with photographers, rendering artists, web developers, marketplace executives and management on deadlines and campaign requirements.
- Stay current with premium jewellery/luxury design trends while creating original work appropriate for the brand.
Must-Have Software & Production Skills
- Advanced Adobe Photoshop, including high-end product retouching, masking, colour correction, compositing and non-destructive workflows.
- Strong Adobe Illustrator and practical knowledge of InDesign; Canva proficiency for efficient templated work.
- Good understanding of typography, layout, colour, image hierarchy, digital advertising and e-commerce conversion.
- Ability to prepare correct dimensions, resolution, colour mode, file size and export formats for web, marketplace, social and print use.
- Basic motion/video capability in After Effects, Premiere Pro or an equivalent tool will be an advantage.
- AI-assisted design-tool knowledge is welcome, but candidates must demonstrate original judgement and high-quality manual finishing.
Portfolio & Experience Requirements
- A strong portfolio is mandatory; applications without relevant work samples will not be shortlisted.
- Portfolio should include jewellery/product retouching, website banners, marketplace images and social campaign work.
- Jewellery, diamond, luxury, beauty, fashion or premium product experience will receive first priority.
- Candidates must be comfortable completing a practical jewellery-retouching and banner-design test.
Qualifications & Personal Attributes
- Degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts or equivalent practical training.
- Exceptionally sharp visual attention, creativity, speed, organisation and respect for deadlines.
- Ability to take ownership, work collaboratively and maintain quality across both small updates and major campaigns.
Success Measures
Success will be measured by: Consistently premium, accurate and brand-aligned creative output; Fast turnaround without quality or file-management errors; Improved visual consistency, customer trust and campaign engagement across channels; Reliable collaboration and reduced dependence on outside creative agencies.
