Job Title: Commissioning Manager (Industrial Automation & Control Systems)Company Overview

As we continue to scale our operations, we are looking for an experienced, proactive Commissioning Manager to lead our site execution, quality assurance, and system deployment teams.
Job Summary
As the Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire post-design lifecycle of our automation projects—from Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to final Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and client handover. You will bridge the gap between our engineering office and the client’s facility, managing a team of Commissioning and Application Engineers. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in Rockwell, Siemens, or similar automation platforms, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong track record of delivering complex industrial projects safely and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight & Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive pre-commissioning and commissioning plans, loop checking procedures, and sequence testing protocols.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and allocate schedules for a team of Site Commissioning Engineers, ensuring high performance and adherence to engineering standards.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) at our facility and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) at client sites. Troubleshoot complex PLC, SCADA, HMI, and VFD configuration bottlenecks.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary technical point of contact at the site, managing client expectations, providing progress updates, and securing sign-offs.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines at all commission sites, maintaining a zero-incident environment.
- Documentation: Ensure all technical documentation, red-line markups, loop sheets, and final "as-built" electrical and software documents are accurately completed and archived.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, or Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: 8–12 years of core experience in industrial automation commissioning, with at least 3+ years in a managerial or lead engineer capacity.
- Technical Expertise:
- Hands-on experience with major PLC/SCADA platforms (specifically Siemens and Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley).
- Strong knowledge of VFDs, servo drives, control panel wiring, and field instrumentation.
- Familiarity with Machine Vision inspection systems and industrial cameras is a significant plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure, sharp communication skills, and natural leadership capabilities.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively to client sites across domestic and international locations as project demands dictate.
