We are seeking a passionate and experienced Bakery Lecturer to train and mentor students in bakery and pastry arts. The candidate will be responsible for conducting practical and theoretical classes, developing student skills, and ensuring industry-relevant training standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct practical and theory classes in Bakery & Pastry Arts.
- Train students in bread making, cakes, pastries, desserts, chocolates, and confectionery.
- Demonstrate baking techniques and industry best practices.
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and assessments.
- Monitor student progress and provide guidance.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and kitchen standards are maintained.
- Organize workshops, demonstrations, and industry exposure programs.
- Stay updated with current bakery trends and innovations.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Bakery & Pastry Arts, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of industry and/or teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of bakery production and pastry techniques.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
