The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring the optimal functionality and reliability of all equipment, machinery, and infrastructure. This role requires a proactive leader who can develop and implement robust maintenance programs, manage a team of technicians, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all plant equipment and facilities.
- Lead, train, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Manage the maintenance department's budget, controlling costs related to labor, parts, and external services, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Ensure strict compliance with all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental standards, promoting a safe working environment.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and equipment.
- Utilize and optimize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work order management, scheduling, spare parts inventory, and historical data tracking.
- Coordinate with production, operations, and other departments to schedule maintenance activities, minimize disruption, and support production goals.
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and recurring issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in maintenance processes, equipment reliability, and energy efficiency.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring quality service and cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance performance, equipment uptime, costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure the availability of critical spare parts and manage inventory levels effectively to support maintenance operations.
