About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic *Assistant Manager – Telesales* to lead and motivate our telesales team in Gurgaon. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing key metrics, and ensuring operational excellence on the floor.
Key Responsibilities
- *Team Management:* Lead, coach, and supervise a team of 15-25 telesales executives and Team Leaders to achieve monthly sales targets
- *Performance Monitoring:* Track KPIs including AHT, conversion rate, sales productivity, call quality, shrinkage, and attrition. Take corrective action where needed
- *Process Management:* Ensure adherence to sales scripts, compliance guidelines, and quality standards
- *Reporting & Analytics:* Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports on team performance, shrinkage, and attrition for senior management
- *Training & Development:* Identify skill gaps, conduct refresher training, and run motivational activities to boost morale
- *Attrition & Shrinkage Control:* Implement strategies to manage planned/unplanned shrinkage and reduce employee attrition
- *Escalation Handling:* Resolve complex customer and team escalations effectively
- *Stakeholder Coordination:* Work with QA, Training, WFM, and HR teams to align on targets and process updates
Requirements
- *Experience:* 2+ years as Assistant Manager/Team Lead in domestic telesales or voice process
- *Domain Knowledge:* Strong understanding of telesales operations, dialer management, shrinkage, and attrition metrics
- *Skills:* Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Proficient in MS Excel, CRM, and reporting tools
- *Education:* Graduate in any discipline. MBA preferred but not mandatory
- *Other:* Target-driven, people-oriented, and able to work in a high-pressure environment. Willingness to work in rotational shifts
