Position: Office Assistant – Transactions & Wage Management

Job Summary
The Office Assistant will be responsible for handling the company’s day-to-day office transactions, maintaining records, preparing wage details, and supporting routine administrative and accounting activities. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, good record-keeping skills, and timely completion of daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily records of cash receipts, payments, purchases, expenses, and other office transactions.
- Record day-to-day business transactions accurately in Excel or the company’s accounting system.
- Prepare daily cash and transaction summaries for management.
- Collect and verify bills, vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial and administrative records.
- Prepare daily/weekly wage calculations based on attendance, working days, units produced, or applicable wage rates.
- Maintain wage and attendance records for workers and staff.
- Verify wage calculations and ensure that payments are made accurately and on time.
- Prepare wage sheets and payment summaries for management approval.
- Coordinate with production and supervisory staff to collect attendance and production details required for wage calculation.
- Maintain records of advances, deductions, overtime, and other wage adjustments.
- Assist in bank transactions, payment entries, and reconciliation of daily transactions.
- Monitor petty cash and maintain proper supporting documents for all expenses.
- Assist the accounts team with data entry and preparation of routine reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of company financial and employee wage information.
- Perform other office and administrative duties assigned by management.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting and office administration.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to perform calculations accurately.
- Good record-keeping and documentation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential financial and wage information.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and complete daily tasks on time.
Preferred Qualification
Education: Plus Two / Diploma / Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in office administration, accounts, payroll/wage management, or a similar role is preferred.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
