Lab In charge (Rice Industry Experience Required)
Role Objective
Ensure quality control, grading, and compliance of paddy and rice as per domestic and export standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct physical & chemical analysis of paddy/rice (moisture, broken %, foreign matter, etc.)
Manage rice grading, classification, and rejection criteria
Ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO, HACCP standards
Supervise lab technicians and sampling proceduresMaintain batch-wise quality reports and traceability records
Coordinate with procurement & production teams for quality deviations
Handle export quality norms (if applicable)
Mandatory Requirements
B.Sc / M.Sc in Food Technology / Agriculture / Chemistry
3–7 years in rice mill / grain processing lab
Strong knowledge of rice varieties & milling quality parameters
Experience with lab equipment & calibration
Offer CTC: 4 LPA to 6 LPA
