Job Summary:
The Hospital Pharmacist ensures the safe, accurate, and cost-effective use of medications throughout our healthcare facility. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to review prescriptions, compound specialized medications, and monitor patient drug therapies. The ideal candidate combines exceptional clinical expertise with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Patient Care
- Perform medication reconciliation for patients during hospital admission, transfer, and discharge.
- Counsel patients and their families on proper medication administration, potential side effects, and storage.
Operations & Compounding
- Dispense, package, and label medications accurately for inpatient and outpatient units.
- Compound specialized medications, including intravenous (IV) admixtures, TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition), and cytotoxic agents, following strict aseptic techniques..
- Maintain flawless documentation and inventory controls for narcotics and controlled substances.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Licensure
- (D. Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from an accredited institution..
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a pharmacist in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Able to work individually and independently.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
