Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist with a minimum of 4-5 +years of hands-on experience in community-based and center-based physiotherapy. The ideal candidate should be committed to inclusive rehabilitation, comfortable working across diverse environments, and willing to travel across locations in Uttar Pradesh as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Community-Based Physiotherapy:
- Conduct home visits to provide personalized physiotherapy sessions.
- Assess individual physical needs and design customized therapy plans.
- Collaborate with community health workers and family members to ensure consistent care.
2. Center-Based Therapy:
- Deliver structured physiotherapy sessions at assigned centers.
- Ensure safety, accessibility, and a supportive environment for all beneficiaries.
- Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve therapy goals.
3. Beneficiary Data Management (Goonjan Software):
- Record and update therapy progress regularly on Goonjan Software.
- Monitor intervention effectiveness and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Generate and submit periodic reports on beneficiary outcomes.
4. Capacity Building and Training:
- Train community health workers and caregivers in basic physiotherapy techniques.
- Conduct awareness programs and community workshops on physical health and rehabilitation.
5. Collaboration and Advocacy:
- Engage with local healthcare providers, NGOs, and government agencies to amplify therapy services.
- Advocate for disability rights and promote the role of physiotherapy in inclusive development.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed therapy session records, assessments, and treatment plans.
- Submit monthly activity reports including outreach, training, and beneficiary progress.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in physiotherapy (preferably with community and center-based exposure).
- Software Skills: Familiarity with data entry and progress tracking software, preferably Goonjan Software.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively within Uttar Pradesh as per project requirements.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary setting.
