Job Summary
The E-commerce Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's online sales channels to maximize revenue, customer satisfaction, and brand visibility. This role involves developing and executing e-commerce strategies, managing website operations, optimizing digital marketing campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring a seamless online shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Strategy & Management
- Develop and implement e-commerce growth strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage online sales channels, including company websites, marketplaces, and mobile platforms.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Website Management
- Oversee website content, product listings, pricing, and promotions.
- Ensure website functionality, performance, and user experience are optimized.
- Coordinate with developers and designers to implement improvements and updates.
Digital Marketing
- Plan and execute online marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and affiliate programs.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Manage advertising budgets and monitor ROI.
Sales & Performance Analysis
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition costs.
- Generate reports and provide recommendations for business growth.
- Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics and e-commerce dashboards.
Inventory & Order Management
- Coordinate with inventory, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure product availability and timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor stock levels and support demand forecasting.
Customer Experience
- Improve customer journey and online shopping experience.
- Manage customer feedback, reviews, and satisfaction initiatives.
- Implement strategies to increase customer retention and loyalty.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, Digital Marketing, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in e-commerce management or digital commerce.
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento).
- Experience with digital marketing, SEO, PPC, and email marketing.
- Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools.
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
