About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Web Developer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in React.js and Node.js and be capable of developing, maintaining, and optimizing modern, responsive web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using React.js and Node.js.
- Build reusable and scalable frontend components using React.
- Develop robust backend services, APIs, and server-side applications using Node.js.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and third-party services.
- Work with databases and ensure efficient data handling and performance.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Optimize websites and applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensure cross-browser and mobile responsiveness.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and other team members.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain clean, well-structured, and reusable code.
- Implement security and performance best practices.
- Maintain and enhance existing websites and applications.
Mandatory Skills
- React.js – Mandatory
- Node.js – Mandatory
- JavaScript / ES6+
- HTML5 & CSS3
- REST API development and integration
- Database knowledge such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Git / GitHub
- Responsive web development
- Debugging and performance optimization
Preferred Skills
- Experience with TypeScript
- Knowledge of Next.js
- Experience with Express.js
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS
- Knowledge of CI/CD and deployment processes
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles
