EDI Architect – JD: Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering or Computer SciencePrefer Masters – MCA in case of Bachelor’s in Computer Science10+ years overall EDI experienceThe Architect will perform requirement gathering, design and build the integrationsThe Job role involves all phases of the project - Requirement gathering, Estimation, Project Planning, Execution, Go-live and supportExperience of EDI solutions within the Automotive IndustryExperience of working with EDI-maintenance with good experience in Seeburger tool.Fluent in English, both spoken and written and good documentation skills Able to handle unforeseen situations Be flexible and open to new assignments and challenges Be interested in working in a global environment Be well organized and methodicalAbility to work in diverse teams with multiple stakeholders and competing prioritiesAbility to stay organized and manage time efficiently.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to technical and non-technical audience Technical Requirement: Must have Experience in SEEBURGER Business Integration SuiteMust have Experience in Seeburger migration and upgradeMust have Experience in Python scripting and other data migration using Seeburger.Must have Deep knowledge of Seeburger for automation and problem-solving skills.Experience in Transforming data between different formats like XML, OAG XML, Flat (Positional, pipe/tab delimited, comma separated), SQL/ODBC, EDI and SAP IDocsExperienced in Design and Development of Business Processes using BPML and GPM (Graphical process modeler)Experience in Connectivity establishment between two trading partners on various Data transport types like AS1, AS2, File share, HTTP/HTTPS, Direct Share, FTP/SFTPProficient with Java/J2EE, XML, HTML, PL/SQL, C++, CStrong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skillKnowledge of Linux (Red Hat), Oracle, SQL EDI/B2B, and EDI standards like EDIFACT, ANSI/X12 programming in Bash, Perl, Python, Java SE/EE or other languagesbasics of FTP, SFTP, HTTP, HTTPSknowledge of AS2, OFTP/OFTP2, IBM WebSphere MQSystem Analysis - Hardware and software requirements planning and sizing.Solution DesignImpact AnalysisPerformance TuningBest Practices - review and implementation of best practicesTroubleshooting & Support - Identify failing processes, assess general EDI system(s) health and provide recommendations for increased efficiency
Key Responsibilities
1. To architect| design and develop [through team] solution for product / sustenance delivery.
2. To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and delivery risks are mitigated.
3. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements.
4. To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology.
